Delete Your Account

This page explains how you can request deletion of your Mintly account and the personal data associated with it. Mintly is the tiffin delivery mobile application developed by Hariom Kankatti (developer name shown on the Google Play store listing). We honour deletion requests in accordance with Google Play’s User Data policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

How to request account deletion

Follow these steps to have your Mintly account and associated data deleted. There is no charge for this request.

Send an email to hariomkankatti57@gmail.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
In the email, include the registered mobile number used to sign in to the app, and your full name, so we can verify your identity.
Alternatively, call or send a WhatsApp/SMS message to +91 8767082265 requesting account deletion.
We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and then delete your account and associated data (see the table below).

Verification: To protect your privacy, we may ask you to confirm the request from your registered mobile number or email before we delete anything. Requests that cannot be verified as coming from the account owner may be declined.

What data is deleted, and what is kept

Once your request is verified, we permanently delete the following personal data associated with your Mintly account:

Delivery addresses & saved locations	Deleted	Removed within 30 days.
Cart, preferences & app activity	Deleted	Removed within 30 days.
Order & transaction history	Kept, then deleted — retained only where required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations, then securely deleted or anonymised.	Up to 8 years (Indian tax/accounting law), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Payment records	Payment details are handled by our payment partner Razorpay and are not stored on our servers. Transaction references are retained for legal/accounting purposes only.	As required by law, then deleted or anonymised.

Data retained for legal or accounting reasons is stored securely, is not used for any other purpose, and is deleted or anonymised once the applicable retention period ends. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; to use Mintly again afterwards you would need to create a new account.

How long it takes

We acknowledge deletion requests within 48 hours and complete verified deletions within 30 days, except for the limited data we are legally required to retain as described above.
